Easter Strawberry Bunnies Delight (Print Version)

Fresh strawberries coated in white chocolate, decorated with marshmallow ears and dark chocolate drizzle.

# What You'll Need:

→ Strawberries

01 - 12 large fresh strawberries, stems removed

→ Chocolate Coating

02 - 7 oz white chocolate, chopped
03 - 2.1 oz dark chocolate, chopped for drizzle and decoration

→ Decorations

04 - 24 mini marshmallows for ears
05 - Edible pink food gel or pink candy melts for inner ears and noses
06 - 24 candy eyes or mini chocolate chips for eyes

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
02 - Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water using a double boiler method, or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
03 - Dip each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, ensuring complete coverage. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - While the coating is still soft, cut each mini marshmallow in half and shape to form bunny ears. Attach two marshmallow halves to the top of each dipped strawberry.
05 - Use a toothpick to apply a dot of pink food gel or melted pink candy to the center of each ear and a small dot for the nose.
06 - Position candy eyes or mini chocolate chips on each strawberry to form eyes.
07 - Melt the dark chocolate and transfer to a small piping bag or use a fork to drizzle over the bunnies, piping whiskers and mouths as desired.
08 - Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes until the chocolate is completely set. Serve chilled.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • They look like edible art but take barely thirty minutes, which means you can actually pull off homemade Easter magic without stress.
  • Kids lose their minds helping decorate—it's one of those rare recipes where their messiness is actually the whole point.
  • The combination of cool, fresh strawberry with creamy white chocolate and those little marshmallow ears is somehow more satisfying than it has any right to be.
02 -
  • Wet strawberries will cause your chocolate to seize and separate—dry them completely, even if it feels obsessive, because it's the difference between a smooth coat and a crumbly disaster.
  • Don't microwave the white chocolate longer than thirty seconds at a time; it can burn in what feels like an instant, turning grainy and unusable.
  • Cut your marshmallow halves right before you attach them, not an hour earlier—they dry out and lose their stickiness, making them impossible to make ears that actually stay put.
03 -
  • Use a fork instead of a piping bag for the dark chocolate drizzle if you want more rustic, organic-looking whiskers—it's actually easier to control and looks intentionally imperfect.
  • If your strawberries are very large, slice them gently in half lengthwise after dipping and decorating to create two smaller bunnies instead of one giant one, which photographs better and feels more elegant.
