01 - In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a simmer. Add chai tea bags, cinnamon stick, whole cloves, and fresh ginger. Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
02 - Remove the saucepan from heat. Discard the chai tea bags and spices using a strainer, allowing the chai concentrate to cool slightly.
03 - Stir maple syrup, lemon juice, and orange juice into the cooled chai concentrate until fully combined.
04 - Fill two glasses with ice cubes. Divide the chai mixture evenly between the glasses.
05 - Top each glass with ½ cup of chilled sparkling water and stir gently to blend.
06 - Garnish each glass with orange slices, an extra cinnamon stick, or star anise as desired. Serve immediately.
