Rustic Wheel Platter (Print Version)

Round platter arranged with crisp celery and savory meat sticks, ideal for sharing.

# What You'll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 6 large celery stalks, ends trimmed and cut into 10 cm sticks

→ Meats

02 - 12 beef, turkey, or pork meat sticks, approximately 10 cm each

→ Dips

03 - 120 ml ranch dressing
04 - 120 ml honey mustard
05 - 120 ml hummus

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Place a large round wooden board or platter on your workspace.
02 - Set a small bowl of desired dip in the center of the board.
03 - Lay celery sticks radiating outward from the center bowl, covering half of the board to form spokes.
04 - Fill spaces between celery spokes with meat sticks, alternating to create a wheel-like pattern.
05 - Present immediately to guests, allowing them to grab and dip the spokes as desired.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It looks intentional and impressive even though you're literally just arranging things in a circle.
  • Your guests can eat with their hands while standing and chatting, which somehow makes everything taste better.
  • Prep is genuinely ten minutes, leaving you time to actually enjoy people instead of sweating in the kitchen.
02 -
  • Celery starts losing its crispness within a few hours of cutting, so prep this no more than a couple hours before guests arrive or it becomes limp and sad.
  • Your board doesn't need to be perfectly round, but the circular arrangement is what makes this visually land—it's worth spending those extra thirty seconds getting the angles somewhat even.
03 -
  • Buy pre-cut vegetable sticks if you want to shave off five minutes, and nobody will know the difference once they're arranged.
  • Keep the ingredients cold in the fridge until the last moment—crisp celery and cool dips are non-negotiable for this to shine.
