Nutella Puff Pastry Snowflakes (Print Version)

Flaky golden puff pastry with Nutella filling, shaped into festive snowflakes. A quick and fun treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (each approx. 8.8 oz), thawed if frozen

→ Filling

02 - 6 tablespoons Nutella or chocolate-hazelnut spread

→ Topping

03 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll one sheet of puff pastry and place it on the prepared tray.
03 - Spread Nutella evenly over the pastry, leaving a 0.4-inch border around the edges.
04 - Place the second pastry sheet on top, aligning edges precisely.
05 - Place a small glass in the center without pressing down. Cut the pastry into 16 equal strips from the glass edge to the pastry edge using a sharp knife.
06 - Gently twist each strip 2 to 3 times. Optionally, pinch the ends together to form a snowflake shape.
07 - Remove the glass and brush the pastry surface with beaten egg for a golden finish.
08 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and deeply golden brown.
09 - Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
