01 - 1 batch sweet yeast dough (prepared in advance)

02 - 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
03 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
04 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine maple syrup, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Pour mixture evenly into a greased baking pan.
02 - Distribute chopped toasted pecans over the maple glaze mixture in the baking pan.
03 - Roll out sweet yeast dough into a rectangle. Brush with additional softened butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar as desired. Roll tightly and slice into individual buns.
04 - Place the dough slices cut-side down on top of the pecan-maple layer in the pan.
05 - Allow buns to rise in a warm area for 30 to 45 minutes, until noticeably puffy.
