01 - Combine maple syrup, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Pour mixture evenly into a greased baking pan.
02 - Distribute chopped toasted pecans over the maple glaze mixture in the baking pan.
03 - Roll out sweet yeast dough into a rectangle. Brush with additional softened butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar as desired. Roll tightly and slice into individual buns.
04 - Place the dough slices cut-side down on top of the pecan-maple layer in the pan.
05 - Allow buns to rise in a warm area for 30 to 45 minutes, until noticeably puffy.
06 - Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until buns are golden brown and set.
07 - Immediately invert the pan onto a serving plate while warm, allowing the sticky glaze and pecans to coat the buns completely.
