# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Its thick enough to feel like a treat but light enough that you dont feel weighed down afterward.
  • You can toss in whatever frozen fruit is hiding in your freezer and it still turns out great.
  • The toppings make it feel like youre eating something indulgent even though its just fruit and greens.
  • It takes less time than toast but somehow feels more satisfying.
02 -
  • If your blender struggles, add the liquid first then the greens then the frozen fruit so it doesnt jam up halfway through.
  • Frozen fruit is essential, fresh fruit makes it thin and watery instead of thick and creamy.
  • Taste the base before you pour it, you can always blend in more sweetness but you cant take it out.
  • Let the frozen banana soften for a minute or two if your blender isnt super powerful or it will sound like its dying.
03 -
  • Freeze your bananas when theyre perfectly ripe and spotted, thats when theyre sweetest and youll never waste another brown banana.
  • If you dont have nut butter, a spoonful of Greek yogurt or coconut cream makes it just as creamy.
  • Rinse your blender immediately after pouring, dried smoothie base is impossible to scrub off later.
  • Prep your toppings the night before and store them in small containers so morning assembly is effortless.
