Savory Crescent Roll Bites (Print Version)

Flaky crescent rolls wrapped around gooey mozzarella and cheddar, enhanced with herbs and topped with Parmesan.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Cheese Filling

02 - 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 8 cubes
03 - 1.5 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 8 cubes
04 - 1 tbsp fresh chives or parsley, finely chopped (optional)
05 - ½ tsp dried Italian herbs

→ Topping

06 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
07 - ¼ tsp garlic powder
08 - 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
03 - Place one cube each of mozzarella and cheddar at the wide end of each triangle; sprinkle Italian herbs and chopped chives or parsley if using.
04 - Roll up each triangle starting from the wide end, tucking the ends to enclose the cheese.
05 - Place rolls seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
06 - Combine melted butter and garlic powder, then brush evenly over the tops of the rolls.
07 - Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese atop each roll.
08 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
09 - Let the rolls cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
