# Steps to Follow:
01 - Melt butter or heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced onion, carrot, and celery, sautéing for 5 minutes until softened.
02 - Incorporate minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Stir in diced potatoes and corn kernels, cooking for 2 to 3 minutes while stirring occasionally.
04 - Pour in vegetable broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15 to 18 minutes until potatoes are tender.
