04 - 1/4 cup heavy cream
05 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

06 - 3 slices bacon or pancetta, diced (omit for vegetarian option)

07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
# Steps to Follow:
01 - Bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions without seasoning packets. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking water, then set noodles aside.
02 - Whisk together eggs, grated Parmesan, heavy cream, and black pepper in a bowl until the mixture is smooth.
03 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook diced bacon or pancetta until crispy. Remove the meat, leaving 1 tablespoon of fat in the pan. If omitting meat, add the butter directly.
04 - Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until aromatic.
05 - Add the cooked ramen to the skillet and toss thoroughly to coat noodles in the butter and garlic mixture.
06 - Remove the skillet from heat. Immediately pour in the egg and cheese mixture, tossing quickly to evenly coat the noodles and produce a creamy sauce. Add reserved noodle water one tablespoon at a time if the sauce needs loosening.
07 - Stir in the crispy bacon or pancetta if using. Season with salt to preference.
08 - Plate immediately, garnishing with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
