Caesar Chicken Flatbread (Print Version)

Golden flatbread with grilled chicken, romaine, Parmesan, and creamy Caesar dressing.

# What You'll Need:

→ Flatbread

01 - 2 large flatbreads or naan bread
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Chicken

03 - 2 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts
04 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Caesar Topping

08 - 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
09 - 1/3 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
10 - 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
12 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

13 - Extra Parmesan shavings
14 - Lemon wedges (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Brush both sides of the flatbreads with olive oil and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes until warmed and slightly crisp.
03 - Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly.
04 - In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, tossing gently to coat evenly.
05 - Remove flatbreads from oven and evenly distribute sliced chicken over each. Top with Caesar salad mixture, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and add cherry tomatoes if desired.
06 - Finish with additional Parmesan shavings and freshly ground black pepper. Serve promptly with lemon wedges if preferred.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It tastes indulgent but comes together faster than ordering takeout.
  • You get that satisfying crunch and creaminess in every bite without feeling heavy afterward.
02 -
  • Don't skip letting the chicken rest—it sounds unnecessary but it's the difference between juicy chicken and dry chicken.
  • Assemble right before serving or the warm flatbread will wilt the lettuce into submission.
03 -
  • Grate your own Parmesan instead of using pre-shredded if you can—it melts differently and tastes sharper and more real.
  • Have everything prepped and ready before the flatbread goes into the oven, because once it comes out the window closes fast.
