Savory BBQ meatballs and flaky biscuits meld under golden, melted cheddar—a classic comfort dish for easy family meals.

# What You'll Need:

→ Meatballs

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1/3 cup plain breadcrumbs
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1/4 cup milk
05 - 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ Sauce

10 - 1 cup barbecue sauce
11 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
12 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

→ Biscuits

13 - 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (16 ounces, 8 biscuits)
14 - 1 tablespoon butter, melted

→ Topping

15 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
16 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika until just incorporated.
03 - Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs, yielding approximately 24 uniform pieces.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium-high. Sear meatballs on all sides for 5 to 6 minutes; they do not need to be cooked through.
05 - Stir together barbecue sauce, ketchup, and Worcestershire in a small bowl. Spread half the mixture over bottom of the prepared baking dish.
06 - Distribute browned meatballs evenly over the sauce layer.
07 - Split each biscuit horizontally to create 16 halves. Nestle biscuit pieces between and around meatballs in the dish.
08 - Cover meatballs and biscuits with the remainder of the barbecue sauce mixture.
09 - Lightly brush tops of biscuits with melted butter using a pastry brush.
10 - Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven and evenly sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Return to oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until biscuits are golden and cheese is melted and bubbling.
11 - Allow dish to rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.
